Welcome to the Interrocade.Read the intro

Insert nothing. Press play. These aren't your typical games. They're built to teach, because what's the point of playing if you learn nothing? A game with a purpose can still be fun, and that's the goal here.

We put together a few games to help us all learn punctuation. The more we learn, the more we improve, and the more fun we have.

The games are simple. They're in beta, and it's just me building them. Help me make them better. Play them, break them, tell me what you think. Got an idea? Send it. Reach me on SimpleX or sign up for the beta program.

Pick your kind of play

One mark can change everything.

Play solo, pass a device, or put a question up for the room.

GAME 01 · SELECT TO START

Mind the Mark BETA

Beat the blank.

Who plays
Solo · also works projected for a group
Time to play
5 questions per round · play at your pace

Play Mind the Mark →

How it plays

Pick the mark that fits a sentence and its tone clue. Five questions per round, with an explanation after each choice.

One player. Good for a short classroom warmup. Scores stay on this device, not on a public leaderboard.

GAME 02 · SELECT TO START

Tone Lock BETA

Same words. New attitude.

Who plays
Solo · compare readings with a friend
Time to play
Timed rounds, or untimed Practice

Play Tone Lock → · Practice without a timer

How it plays

Same words, different marks, different mood. Add punctuation to match the requested mood before time runs out.

One player. Start with untimed Practice. The timed game gets faster by level. Tone is a matter of judgment; the game shows one reading, not the only reading.

For teachers and families

Read the rules with new players. Use a nickname, not a child's full name. Ask Better Questions saves the project and player names in this browser, so use a made-up project and first names or nicknames.

These are browser games, not the Android keyboard beta. You can play without joining a test or sharing personal details. If browser storage is blocked, progress lasts only for the current visit.
